On July 20, 2022 - we lost Ryker. (Here's a little video on him!)

For those of you that knew him, you know he was an incredibly special cattle dog to us. He was the resort greeter who absolutely loved Canim Lake and everything about the Cariboo. In honour of his memory, we created a South Point Resort Fundraiser to raise money for the SPCA in the Cariboo region of BC. We are calling it Ryker's Round-Up - in an effort to gather the troops and help raise money for other animals looking for their forever home or needing proper medical treatments.

The main efforts will be in July each year, but it will be open year-round. We also have a donation bin at the Canim Lake General Store. That donation bin just gave $80 for 2024. Thank you!
