Dear friends,
Animals have always been part of our famiy. Growing up, I was taught that evey form of life, whether furry or covered in scales deserves the same repsect, care and empathy. That belief was reinforced every day, especially by my dad, who never hesitated to help an animal in need...even helping me try and rescue a cat stuck in a tree.
Our dog Wilson was always my dad's shadow, following him everywhere and reminding us how deep the bond between humans and animals can be. Seeing that connection firsthand made me understand how much animals rely on us for compassion and protection.
Knowing how many animals are still waiting for safety and love is heartbreaking, but it's also what motivates me and so many other to make a difference. Supporting the BCSPCA is one way we can help give animals the care, dignity and second chances they deserve.
