Team Captain: A Light That Never Fades [In Memory of Lynn]
Dear friends,
This page is in memory of Lynn Elliott.
Lynn was a wonderful person, wife, mother, grand mother, friend and co-worker. Her positivity and compassion for others knew no bounds, that was especially true for animals.
There is an old saying that is only partially true in Lynn's case. It simply states that If you want to know your importance relative to the world around you, punch your fist into body of water. Within mere seconds , the water is replaced as if you were never there..
Except. Except special people who by the way they live and treat others, the impact arround them is not measured by the depth of hole they created when they were here, but rather the hole they leave when they are not. Lynn Elliott was one of these rare people, and the ripples she created in all of us continue to move in ways that impacted all of us while she was here. Her spirit will coninue to be a great influence for the good through our actions, and our words.
Her unselfish ways, her kindness, her possesion of a spirit that was vibrant and genuine in spite of all that she had to endure. We each have ways that we will remember her by, let make one of them participation in one of Lynn's passion. It will be a great way to honour her. She was a very caring person, animals rely on caring people like her and us so they can live happy and healthy lives. Last year the BC SPCA assisted over 135,000 animals! Thanks to animal lovers like Lynn, they could provide these vulnerable animals with rescue, shelter, medical care and so much more.
Your donation is a great way to remember Lynn and can give these wonderful creatures a second chance at life, free from cruelty. Please join us today to help animals in need.
